The Terra College Foundation and ProMedica Memorial Hospital Foundation are excited to host the 5th annual Cookin’ Men fundraiser. The first-class evening is presented by Croghan Colonial Bank and will be held Saturday, March 25 at the Ronald L. Neeley Center.
Twenty-four Fremont area men will create their favorite meals with the assistance of four professional chefs in this one-of-a-kind culinary experience. Attendees will have the opportunity to dine on their creations at four stations and also be able to vote for their favorite dish in the “People’s Choice” competition. In addition to dining, both live and silent auctions, raffles and 50/50 drawings will take place.
In 2015, Cookin’ Men raised nearly $25,000 for the Dorothy L. Kern Cancer Center and the United Way of Seneca County’s Cancer Care Fund. This year, proceeds will go to the Terra College Foundation for its hospitality, allied medicine and nursing programs and ProMedica Memorial Hospital Foundation.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to come together with the hospital and celebrate the partnership between two anchor institutions in the greater Fremont community,” said Dr. Jerome Webster, President, Terra State Community College. “We hope you will join us as community support will help to ensure local residents and families have access to vital services and education right here in Sandusky County.”
The 2017 Cookin’ Men fundraiser is co-chaired by Don Nalley and Kay Reiter, both of Fremont, along with a committee of community leaders. The event provides valued community partners with an opportunity to support critical healthcare and education needs in our community.
Only 175 tickets are available and are $75. They can be obtained by contacting Cory Stine in the Terra College Foundation offices at 419.559.2261 or email@example.com. Additional information can be found on-line at www.foundation.terra.edu/events.
